In-House Capability: AI Andalus maintains a full service in-house pool of resources (manpower and equipment) that can respond to any need without the inherent delays for external authorisations and subcontracting.
Response to Customer Requirements: Our ability to perform efficiently and in an accelerated manner is proven by many contracts executed recently in record time. This demonstrates our ability to respond to requirements in an expedited manner. We have always been ready, willing, and able to respond to instantaneous, un-forecasted demands during peak periods.
Organizational Authority :
The Project Management Team has full authority for operational and financial decisions affecting the contract.
Strong Supplier Relationships:
AI Andalus has developed a network of strong performing and cooperative suppliers who have a proven record of meeting goals in terms of quality and timeliness. We do not have the problem of delays such as acquiring letters of credit for major expenditures or having to take time to locate and negotiate with untried or unreliable suppliers.
Strong Financial Resources:
AI Andalus has a solid balance sheet and banking relationships in order to finance the demands of fast-track projects.
Management Continuity: AI Andalus uses its long-term project management teams who have executed ongoing contracts.
To deal effectively with this extremely difficult and time-consuming task, the AI Andalus has established relationships with the customers in order to support the dynamic requirements of base passes for secured location. We have demonstrated a sophisticated understanding of the requirements and have had excellent success in the processing of base passes management attitude.
QUALIFIED KEY PERSONNEL
AlAndalus has successfully executed, in timely period, numerous projects recently. We attribute our success to our experienced management and technical team. We believe that the basis for a winning project lies in the ability of key personnel to perform in strict accordance with customer requirements. As detailed in key Personnel, our key personnel include many years of collective experience performing contracts in the region. All of our key personnel have the requisite field and design/construction experience which clearly demonstrate Al Andalus’ commitment and ability to provide top-notch personnel to perform with excellence on behalf of the customer.
Although it is difficult to quantify, we feel that the AI Andalus management team has demonstrated a willingness and capability to respond to dynamic and difficult situations on a real time basis without resorting to constant financial claims as is customary with may other firms.
Core Support In order to support rapid response times, support functions that are needed on a daily basis have been assigned permanently within the Project Office. Examples of dedicated support to the project are material procurement, engineering design, Government Relations (base-passes), introduction development, and warehousing and equipment maintenance. Functions requiring Head Office support include Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Management Information Services, and Legal. Due to AI Andalus’ high level of interest in the project and the direct reporting relationship to the General Manager, the support department assistance to the organisation has been very responsive.
1- Material Procurement
AlAndalus has the ability of executing multiple projects. The procurement plan takes into account the availability of Materials locally, Conformity of acquired materials to codes and specifications, and the quality of the material. The following chart is an example of the types of materials purchased locally or imported from reliable sources: Locally Procurement Material Earth for fill Aggregates, gravel Ready Mixed Concrete Reinforcement steel Cement Blocks Asphalt material (from own Asphalt PIant ) Other Main Material Items from abroad Pre Engineered Steel Building Doors and Windows Finishing Items HVAC Materials Electrical Materials Plumbing Materials Generators, Transformers.
2- Manage Materials Submittals and Approvals
(See Quality Control Plan) Detailed material submittal schedules are developed once the procurement schedules are approved. Submissions and necessary approvals are monitored by the management ensuring orders are placed in a manner supporting work schedule time requirements and milestones.
3- Materials Scheduling and Ordering
Material ordering follows the procurement schedule, highlighting long lead items. The Project Manager then coordinates with our ocal Finance and Purchasing Departments. For locally procured materials, a requisition from the Managers is sent to the Purchasing Department. For everyday site consumables, the Purchasing staff on site receives a requisition from the Project Managers. For overseas procurement’s, the Project Management and Procurement Management closely monitor the goods and transit progress. Upon clearance from customs, materials are delivered to site where a quality control inspection is carried out.
4- Transports and Delivery
AI Andalus has its own transportation and logistics division and has been managing the transportation and delivery of materials and personnel for itself and many private and government sector companies to various locations in the Middle East.
AlAndalus personnel are very well acquainted with process and procedures, safety and security.
